Bubble test for fallopian tube health

Women's Health Practice prides itself on staying ahead of the curve for all your health care needs.

FemVue is just one for tool for just that! This innovative device allows improved evaluation of your uterus and fallopian tubes in women trying for pregnancy, having abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, uterine polyps, or pelvic pain. It is designed to improve the current SIS test (Saline Infused Hysterosalpingogram). It is a single visit ultrasound fertility assessment done typically in the first part of the menstrual cycle. By using a small amount of saline (sterile salt water) and the Femvue device which also uses tiny air bubbles, we can assess whether your Fallopian tubes are open, and whether there are polyps, fibroids or other issues with the interior of your uterus. FemVue eliminates the need of the typical prior testing with x-ray and radiologic dye exposure women have had to have in a hospital setting. The FemVue SIS procedure allows you to have your testing done right here in our office. This improves accuracy with safety and can potentially save women money as well.

Your continued good health and fertility are our utmost concern and we encourage you to discuss all your care options with us at Women’s Health Practice, with one of our other health care providers.
