How Low Back Pain Relates to Pelvic Pain, and Finally a Core Muscle Building Cure

Women have chronic pelvic pain more commonly than migraines, at about the same rate as they have back pain, or asthma. As described in

In women pregnancy and childbirth specifically can cause trauma to muscles and skeleton and this in tern cause lead to chronic pelvic and chronic lower back pain. The abdominal wall muscle disruption in pregnancy is called diastasis recti. Pelvic floor disruption, poor conditioning going into pregnancy, both contribute to weakened pelvic floor,  but the way to recover from these conditions increase strategies that will work to treat these chronic pains as well.
If during pregnancy you have pelvic floor or core disruption there is a way to prevent these problems from becoming chronic pain is to exercise according to experts.Although there are additional considerations
“Exercise may be the most effective way to speed recovery from low back pain and help strengthen back and abdominal muscles. Maintaining and building muscle strength is particularly important for persons with skeletal irregularities,” according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Discuss with your gyno, your fitness instructor, your swim coach, they all will have input on how to increase and maintain the core strength to help control and prevent pelvic pain.
