Vaginal Bleeding After a Hysterectomy

Vaginal Wall Polyp in Woman With Hysterectomy
There are a number of causes of bleeding after a hysterectomy. For some women it is the vagina dryness that occurs with menopause. For other women it's the formation of granulation tissue, almost like a soft scab, that occurs with healing. Then there are other more odd cases, fallopian tubes that have prolapsed through. In this case it was a small, non-cancerous, fibromuscular knot of tissue that grew in the wall of the vagina. So if you are having bleeding after a hysterectomy, it is time to see your gynecologist.
