A drop of blood?

What tests are best? Blood tests for HIV? Hepatitis B? Hepatitis C? Syphilis? Previous Chlamydia infection? How about pregnancy? Maybe a drop can answer a lot of these questions.
Medscape today reported this quote: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one half of US pregnancies are unintended, 1 in 4 people aged 15 to 20 years contracts an STI each year, and the proportion of women among people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States has tripled during the past 2 decades, from 8% in 1985 to 26% in 2007." So what should you do...well talk to your Gyno Gab Gal. You may not have done enough to protect your self. You may not have even been asked to give that drop of blood. My parent organization...ACOG...http://www.acog.org/ wants all women ages 15 to 65 to be offered at least an HIV test when they come to their gyne...were you?
